The Little Artist collective was born from a long time art teacher's daydream.

Samantha Rogers has taught visual art to children in various capacities for many years. Her passion was born in elementary school where she would begin a lifelong journey of being taught by excellent artists and a top-notch crafty mother! Her teaching background began as a camp counselor for YMCA of Columbia, SC. There she led craft time in a humble art cabin, which led her obtain her degree in art education from Columbia College. During her studies she began working with children in a local children's' art studio. In 2011, Samantha moved to the Charleston area to teach elementary art in Berkeley County where she has taught for six years.  Nominated as a candidate for teacher of the year in 2016, she helped her school to receive the Arts in Basic Curriculum Grant provided by the South Carolina Arts Commission.  She and her husband have resided in Park Circle for five years and love it! Through The Little Artist Collective, Samantha hopes to bring the magic of art to her community and become a part of something that is bigger than herself.
